Coal Handling System

Client: M/s. GEA BGR Energy system India Limited

End User: M/s. APGENCO-VTPS

Location: Andhra Pradesh

Scope of Supply/Work:

Design, Engineering  manufacturing testing and commissioning of  REDUNDANCY PLC panels, Mimic Panel, Marshalling Panel, Remote IO Panel, Profibus Converters, Ethernet Switch, Fiber Optic Cable with Converters, Operator workstations with SCADA, Control Desk ,UPS  and Printer.

Project Detail:

  • It’s a turnkey project of Automation for total Coal Handling system to control MCC, Conveyors with accessories, Bunker Level Monitoring, and Field Instruments and Fire fighting system.
  • The system was designed with 1400 Digital Inputs and Outputs and 80 Analog Inputs and Outputs.
  • The PLC Panel was connected with Remote I O panel via Fiber Optic Network at a distance of 2.5 KM to control and Monitor the various field Instruments.
  • Profibus converters are used to collect the data from the Bunker level indicator and feed to PLC via Fiber Optic Network.
  • Control Desk with Mimic is being used for controlling the Conveyor paths
  • SCADA is developed to monitor and control all the field instruments and to alert the operators.
  • The operational history and the fault parameters will be stored in the Operator work stations for 60 days for the customer reference.
  • Printer is supplied to get the operational details in the prescribed format.
  • IP 55 type  Enclosures are  used for  this project
  • The system will have 3 operational ways namely Manual Mode, Local Auto and Remote Auto Mode.
  • The System is designed with Hot Standby Redundant  PLC, Redundant Power Supply and  Redundant Communication
  • The system is designed with full redundancy to ensure the nonstop operation of Coal Handling System.
  • The necessary safety interlock is designed in the PLC to have a fool proof and safety operation.
  • The system is successfully commissioned at the site and put in to operation to the entire customer satisfaction.

Water Treatment Plant

Scope of Supply/Work:

  • Design, Engineering
  • software development
  • Manufacture and supply of PLC based control Panel with CE Marking for Water Treatment System.
  • Make Of PLC is Siemens S7 300 with Touch Screen.

Project Detail:

  • The PLC  based control Panel is  designed to operate the Tube cleaning system in Manual Mode, Local Auto Mode and Remote Auto Mode.
  • The Panel is designed and manufactured according to EURO Norms .
  • The panel was inspected in all aspects in line with the EURO norms and standard by DNV and obtained CE marking
  • IP 55 type  Enclosure used is or this project.
  • A  10 inches color Touch Screen is provided in the control panel for control and Monitoring of the Tube Cleaning system.
  • Touch SCADA system is designed to operate and monitor the  system from the central control room.
  • The system will have 3 operational base namely,(i) Push button Station for testing and commissioning,(ii)Mimic Panel system to operate the system in Local and remote  Auto Mode (iii)SCADA  to control and Monitor the system from the Central Control Room.
  • The System is designed with Hot Standby Redundant  PLC, Redundant Power Supply and  Redundant Communication

Tube Cleaning System

Scope of Supply/Work:

Design, Engineering  manufacturing testing and commissioning of Mosaic based REDUNDANCY PLC panels, Switch Gear Panels and Operator workstations and SCADA.

Project Detail:

  • The PLC and Mosaic based control Panels are designed to operate the Tube cleaning system in Manual Mode, Local Auto Mode and Remote Auto Mode.
  • The Mosaic Tiles and Modules were imported from subclew  West Germany.
  • IP 55 type  Enclosure used is or this project
  • A SCADA system is designed to operate and monitor the  system from the central control room
  • The system will have 3 operational base namely,(i) Push button Station for testing and commissioning,(ii)Mosaic Panel system to operate the system in Local and remote  Auto Mode (iii)SCADA  to control and Monitor the system from the Central Control Room.
  • The System is designed with Hot Standby Redundant  PLC, Redundant Power Supply and  Redundant Communication.
  • The system is designed with full redundancy to ensure the nonstop operation of Tube Cleaning System in the condenser area of the power plant.
  • The system is successfully commissioned at the site and put in to operation
